In this free teleconference, Bruce Berman will discuss his new book, "Making Innovation Pay," where ten authors pprovide essays on their views concerning how to make money with patents, ranging from so-called "patent trolls" to the heads of traditional corporate IP activities in the largest corporations. Mr. Berman advocates looking at what works and offers some insights from a policy and public relations perspective as to how to identify and characterize the "creatures" that inhabit the patent ecosystem.

Bruce Berman is president of Brody Berman Associates, Inc. in New York, a management consulting and communications firm, best known for helping clients identify and convey complex assets, such as patents and intellectual property rights. Bruce received his Masters degree in film scholarship from Columbia University, where he taught for four years and also completed course and comprehensive requirements for his Ph.D. He received his Bachelor of Arts with honors in English literature and journalism from The City College of New York.
