EFS Web Beta Test Update
The good folks at Oppedahl & Larson have started a web page with the latest information on the USPTO's "EFS Web beta test" for electronic patent filing via the Internet. The site already identifies several advantages of EFS Web compared with paper filing and ABX-ePave filing:
- Image quality is better with EFS Web as compared with ABX
- Image quality is better with EFS Web as compared with faxing to the Central Fax Number
- Entry into US national stage from PCT gets into PAIR and IFW months faster, and gets your serial number weeks faster
The site also provides several very nice, editable PDF forms requiring only Acrobat Reader version 7:
