USPTO Forms Updated
The United States Patent and Trademark Office updated the following forms in October 2005:
According to the EFS Web News program update for November 2005, "The USPTO will be releasing two PDF fillable forms: the Application Data Sheet and the Information Disclosure Statement. These forms include a rich array of features including pre-populated dropdown lists, a data import capability, and the ability to save and reuse the document."

"One of the key features of EFS-Web is the ability to electronically file PDF documents. This will allow users to create their documents with a popular and easy-to-use technology, independent of any proprietary software. Users can choose which PDF driver they would like to use to create their PDF documents. Detailed PDF Guidelines will be included as a part of the Beta packet. Currently, the EFSWeb team has tested the following PDF Drivers:
