- A national of a developing country or of a country with an economy in transition;
- Working as a teacher of intellectual property in a University located in a developing country or in a country with an economy in transition, with at least 5 years teaching experience;
- In possession of an advanced degree in intellectual property law or in international law/economics/management with a specialization in intellectual property.
