USPTO PASAT Support Ending; Web Filing in the Works

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has announced that support for PASAT will be discontinued within the next few months. PASAT users should make preparations to begin using EFS-ABX. The Patent Electronic Business Center (EBC) is available to provide assistance with downloading, installing and creating your patent application specification using EFS-ABX. Rumor has it that the USPTO is also working on a PDF patent filing system similar to the TEAS system for trademarks.
