TGIF for the Internet Guide to Engineering, Mathematics and Computing
EEVL is the Internet Guide to Engineering, Mathematics and Computing. Its mission is to provide access to quality networked engineering, mathematics and computing resources, and be the national focal point for online access to information in these subjects. It is an award-winning free service, created and run by a team of information specialists from a number of universities and institutions in the UK.
EEVL's core service is the Internet Resource Catalogue, a collection of over 10,000 descriptions and links to quality Internet web sites. EEVL has also developed an engineering electronic journal search engine (EESE), searching over 200 engineering trade and scholarly journals. Through EEVL you can access specialised information services, such as the Recent Advances in Manufacturing (RAM) bibliographic database, the SearchLT database of teaching and learning resources and the Offshore Engineering Information Service. EEVL also aggregates jobs and industry news from a wide range of top sources via its OneStep Jobs and OneStep News services. You can also find the latest industry news in Engineering, Mathematics and Computing with EEVLs OneStep Industry News Service.
