KIPO: Ten Strategies for Patent Management
According to Chizai Corporation: Japanese Patent Translation and Information Services, "The ten strategies for patent management suggested by the KIPO include: full awareness of the trend of patents related to the company's own products; firm response against indiscrete infringement litigations; prioritization of filing patent applications over the introduction of products into markets; awareness of the fact that there is no international patent; awareness of the fact that there is a deadline for filing patent applications overseas; awareness of the fact that patent rights can be purchased; and clear indication of responsibilities over patent disputes with regard to production made by OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), etc., which are arranged for easy understanding and provided with specific cases for each issue."
