Avoiding the Queue for .EU?

According to Richard Schreier of Pool.com, EURid has required Registrars (those organizations accredited to broker domain acquisition on behalf of customers) to submit their applications for new .EU domain names in the order in which they are received. However, independent companies (like Pool.com) who are not accredited are not subject to the same rules, and do not have to comply with the first come first served requirement. He says that these independents will be prioritizing their domain name requests during the sunshine period based "on their customers needs," rather that first-come, first-served because these rules do not apply to them.

EURid has recently published more documents about the .eu launch.
