A No-Spyware "Bill of Rights"

Concerned by accusations about spyware (the average computer houses roughly 28 items of secret monitoring software), one freeware supplier has now created a "bill of rights" for consumer and business users who download desktop applications. Included in Weatherbug's proclamation, "The right to a download completely free of any spyware or adware."

WeatherBug offers a free, desktop application that streams live local weather conditions to 15 million users from a nationwide network of 7,000 school- and community-based weather stations. For more from Weatherbug about spyware and free spyware detection software, click here.
