METI Paper Urges Use of Intellectual Property
In a white paper subtitled "Toward a New Value-Creative Economy," the Japanese Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry concludes that, among other things, businesses at home and abroad need to exploit intellectual assets at a time when countries, including China, are supplying cost-competitive merchandise.
