According to Layer-Z, Inc.'s website, "SendThisFile enables you to easily transfer a large file to anyone, anywhere. When you transfer large files using SendThisFile SM, the files are stored on our server. We send the recipient an e-mail with a link to the file. The recipient clicks on the link to download the file. . . . All it takes is three simple steps to send a large file the SendThisFile SM way:
- Put in the recipient's email address and the file name.
- Click on the SendThisFile SM button to send the file to our server.
- The recipient clicks on an email link to start the download process. "
